Name Meaning
Meaning : One who builds with stones or bricks.
Origin - English (Hebrew - Gadar) (1 Chronicles 22:2, also verse 15 the holy bible)
And David commanded to gather together the strangers that were in the land of Israel; and he set masons to hew wrought stones to build the house of God.
Masons were also called upon to repair the Temple during the reigns of kings Josiah and Joash.
(This was 1 of the primary reasons we used the name Mason, he has somehow fixed a lot of things in our lives even before he arrived)

Other names we considered we Mlungisi, Njabulo, Tobius, Mqondisi but these names went nowhere with us
His full names are "Mason Bandile Nqobile Jiane"
In my favorite tv series "24" Season 2 a fictitious character names George Mason played by Xander Berkeley, he accidentally inhaled weapons grade plutonium during a raid and as he was dying he wanted to make his death worthwhile by relieving Jack Bauer from flying a plane carrying a nuclear bomb into Mojave dessert thus sacrificing his life and saving Jack and millions of lives from certain death.
The is also a "Jared Mason" in the movie "The sum of all fears"
